A lease has been signed for a new Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre in Bundamba.

The centre at 28 Brisbane Road will offer a full range of transport services including licensing, registration and more.

Member for Bundamba Lance McCallum said the expanded and improved centre would be a great asset for Ipswich.

"The Palaszczuk Government is continuing to revitalise critical frontline services for our local community," Mr McCallum said.

“This is a huge win. The old Redbank centre was too small and offered limited services.

“The Brisbane Road site is perfectly located and much larger, which means more room for customers to access more services.

"The new facility will prioritise safety, functionality and accessibility for staff and the community.

"Work is underway on the design, and we expect the centre to be ready to open to the public next year."

Mr McCallum said TMR was committed to ensuring the services offered would meet community expectations.

"I look forward to continuing to update our community with new details over coming months," he said.
