Ipswich is well represented in the refreshed and refocussed Miles Labor Government.

Member for Jordan, Charis Mullen MP, Member for Bundamba, Lance McCallum MP, and Member for Ipswich, Jennifer Howard MP were officially sworn into the Miles Government Ministry on Monday the 18 December at Government House.

Their appointments mark a significant milestone in bolstering Ipswich's representation in the Queensland Government.

Charis Mullen has taken on the role of Minister for Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services, and Multicultural Affairs while Lance McCallum steps into the responsibilities of Minister for Employment and Small Business, and Minister for Training and Skills Development.

Jennifer Howard MP is now the Assistant Minister for Treasury, Trade, and Investment.

These positions will play an important role within the state and will mean that Ipswich will have a stronger voice than ever in terms of representation in the Queensland Parliament.
