I am proud of Labor’s Container Refund Scheme, known as Containers for Change.
Every day, I see the benefits in our community, from less litter in waterways and parks to our local clubs being able to fundraise.
In 2023, our government listened to community members and extended the scheme to include wine and spirit bottles.
Now the Queensland Government is holding a Parliamentary Inquiry about the Containers for Change scheme. The Committee wants to hear what you think of Containers for Change, and how you think it could be improved.
Whether there’s a suburb in our community that needs a new collection point, or extra items you’d like to see made returnable for recycling at Containers for Change locations, please have your say.
I’ve put together a short survey below, and I will report the results back to the Health, Environment and Innovation Committee on behalf of our Bundamba community.
